Executive: Gazprom aims to keep 2018 gas exports flat from 2017
SOCHI, Feb 8 (PRIME) -- Russian gas giant Gazprom aims to maintain 2018 gas exports unchanged from 2017, Chairman of the Board of Directors Viktor Zubkov told reporters on Thursday.
“Last year we had record exports, including 190 billion cubic meters (of gas) sent to Europe. But you can see what a winter we have this year, it is warm in Europe. It influences gas exports a lot,” he said.
“However, we believe that keeping exports unchanged from the previous year would not be bad. We have such a task.”
In 2017, Gazprom exported 194.4 billion cubic meters of gas to non-CIS states, up 8.4% on the year.
